This is a tabular report which enables users to see how their current data compares to a previous period. e.g. if their diesel consumption is 75% larger than last year and this isn't expected based on site activity, they can investigate whether the data is accurate.
The report allows users to choose 2 reporting periods to compare. The report then calculates the variance for both Usage and t CO2-e between the two periods.
Users can set variance thresholds and display only the data that exceed this tolerance (e.g. 50%).
Values are displayed as both Usage or Emissions (t CO2-e)
Parameters
Current Period Start Date: User to select the start of the reporting period they are interested in. (e.g. 1 July 2014)
Current Period End Date: User to select the end of the reporting period they are interested in. (e.g. 30 June 2015)
Comparison Period Start Date: User to select the start of the reporting period they want to compare their reporting period to (e.g. 1 July 2013)
Comparison Period End Date: User to select the end of the reporting period they want to compare their reporting period to (e.g. 30 June 2014)
Tolerance: User to specify what their variance threshold is. (e.g. if user sets Tolerance at 50%, the report will identify all rows where the variance equals/exceeds 50%. This will be displayed in the report's “Above Tolerance Threshold” column as “Yes”.
Display “Above Tolerance” Records Only: Report defaults to show all records, however the user can select to display only the data rows where it equals/exceeds the threhold.
Entity: Defaults to All Entities selected. User can click on “Change entities” and deselect/select multiple business units/entities by expanding the hierarchy. Entities are selected if they are bolded.
Emission Sources: Defaults to All Emission Sources selected. User can click on “Change emission sources” and deselect/select emission sources by expanding the hierarchy. Emission sources are selected if they are bolded. Tip: Make sure that the selections in both Scope & Emission Source are in alignment.
Features
Restricted Users will only be able to see data for the entities that they have access to. Entities that are not available to the restricted user are greyed out in the Entities dropdown, however the user can still navigate through the hierarchy to select the entities they do have access to.
Ability to export the report as a CSV file or print as a PDF.
Ability to be scheduled on a regular basis to be emailed to users. Admin Users can set this up in the Admin > Reports > Scheduled Rep
